The digital agriculture & robotics laboratory was established at the beginning of 2020 in the Department of Biosystems Engineering at Kangwon National University.
 
Our research focuses on sensor development and deployment, mechanical and digital control systems, and data engineering, as well as autonomous robotic systems which employ machine vision, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies for phenotyping (plant and/or animal), food quality assessment, and other relevant applications in agriculture.

Our mission is to apply advanced ideas of Global Positioning System (GPS), Geographic  Information System (GIS), robotics, remote sensing, image processing, electronic measurement, data mining and information technology into precision agriculture.
